Richard Milton
Richard Milton is one of the lessor known names associated with the British creationist movement. He basically rose to prominence in the 1990s by jumping on the creationist bandwagon. However, Milton is not a practising scientist – he is a journalist and a design engineer by origin. He has never really had anything original to say about the theory of evolution and the old age of the earth and has sort of dropped off the horizon.
However he has apparently given speeches within the framework of Genesis Agendum.
Indeed, Milton appears to have centred his whole career on odd-ball scientific stuff and associated conspiracy theories as can be seen by his website at http://www.alternativescience.com/.
One BCSE member has described him thus - "As anti-evolutionists go, Milton is not typical. He seems to be motivated, not by religion, but by a sort of pathological narcissism."
Here is another look at he work: http://skepdic.com/refuge/altscience.html.
His stuff on Darwinism suffered at the hands of Richard Dawkins as far back as 1992. Dawkin’s review of Milton’s Book The Facts of Life: Shattering the myth of Darwinism was just the start of what was a long series of dreadful reviews.
There is another damning review at http://www.2think.org/darwinism.shtml and another at http://skepdic.com/refuge/altscience.html were Milton responds. BCSE’s Michael Brass pulls him to pieces at http://www.antiquityofman.com/book_miltonreview.html. Milton responds unsuccessfully at http://www.grahamhancock.com/library/review001_brass.php#update. More about Milton can be seen at http://www.lauralee.com/milton2.htm .
