Other UK Creationist Organisations
We have come across a number of creationist groups or organisations whilst researching some recent articles. The North Wales Creation Group apparently consisted of two committee members but fell apart when one decided that he (she?) was pro-homosexuality (whatever that meant). One was called Phillip Snow. Another person in the group was "Karl Krysko, BA (Hons), BSc". (see http://www.freelists.org/archives/creation/02-2005/msg00040.html). We have no idea if he was a committee member but he appears to have been active in Creation Link North.
We can find no details of the Leeds Creation Science Group any more recent than 1999. It was headed by someone called Peter Smith who was head of science "in a Christian school".
There also appears to have been a group called Creation Link North that disappeared about the same time. Randall Hardy, Stephen Layfield (see Infiltration), Nancy Darrall and Karl Kyrsko were involved in it.
Darrall was one of the signatories to the 2002 letter to Estelle Morris. Having worked with Hardy and Layfield within CLN, it seems implausible that their names were left off the Morris letter without prior thought.
Indeed, the CLN information provides the link between the signatories and the Vardy schools. We now know that Layfield has been closely associated with the signatories to that letter – as indeed has Hardy.
We can now safely conclude that the signatories to the Estelle Morris letter were closely involved with all of the main creationist organisations in the UK including Creation Research, the Christian Institute and the Vardy schools.
Interestingly when we checked on 10th July 2006, Hardy’s web site had the following statement on it:
"Earth History. The history of the Earth from a Christian perspective. This website has been withdrawn pending a comprehensive review of all the material".
